Kai had it all secretly planned out to propose to Eunice. Kai and his buddy Pai secretly flew to Antigua to surprise Eunice.  While Eunice was opening her early Christmas present from her mui mui, Katarina.  Her girls Krizelle, Chandni & Unnati asked what would she want the most in the world as a present and Eunice said “to see Kai”.  On that note, Kai and Pai came out from their hiding spot, which the girls called it “the Harry Potter Closet”, to surprise Eunice.  She was happy and filled with tears as she hugged Kai tightly as if it was a dream come true.  For the next few days Eunice, Kai, Pai, Unnati, Chandni, Katarina & Krizelle hung out and caught up.  On the morning of December 17th, the whole group had breakfast at La Bella’s and then everyone went on their own way to run errands or fly home.  Eunice and Kai drove their friend Chandni to the airport and then went back to the apartment at Sugar Mill.  Shortly after, Kai told Eunice that he wanted to bring her to a nice place for a late lunch and so they set out on their drove.  Eunice without any idea where she was going went along for the ride.  When they arrived at the Caribbean helicopters,  Eunice was extremely surprised to see that Kai had surprised her with a helicopter ride. This brought back sweet memories and excitement for Eunice because it reminded her of their very first helicopter ride together in New York City, which was also where Kai gave her the very first diamond promise ring marking it “Diamond in the Sky”. After they received their safety instructions and got on the helicopter, they quickly took off to explore the entire island.  They saw her school, the apartment, their favorite restaurant, half moon bay and many more places.  As they were mesmerize by the beauty of the island, they started approaching Jolly beach which Eunice had no idea, then suddenly Kai took out from his pocket a toy capsule, he bought from a 25¢ machine  in New York, with a ring in it. As Eunice was trying to look at it from afar to see what was really inside.

Kai said to Eunice in the mic : “I don’t have much to offer but I hope you accept this toy ring as an expression of my love for you and one day I promise to give you a real ring.  Will you marry me?”

Eunice’s response was: “Are you serious?!  Are you serious?!  Are you serious?!”

At this point the pilot says “Hey, what’s that down there? What’s that on the beach?”

Kai says to Eunice: “I understand its a big decision and if you need help deciding, look down at the beach.”

As Eunice looks down onto Jolly Beach  she sees a big heart surrounding Eunice & Kai’s name and next to it says “JUST SAY YES”,
designed by Benson and dug out by their friends Pai, Jeri, Katarina, Gaylaine, & Krizelle, who were all on the beach taking pictures, videos, and waving in excitement.

Eunice was extremely happy, she said “YES”  to Kai and they kissed and hugged each other.  After they landed they drove to Jolly Beach where their friends were waiting.  When they arrived at the beach, Eunice was so surprised to see all her friends that helped with the proposal and shocked to see Jeri who flew down for just one day to be a part of the proposal.  Eunice felt the love from everyone, especially from Kai who took months to orchestrate the epic proposal.  Everyone went back to the apartments to get ready and dress up for the engagement dinner that evening on top of the mountain at Carmichael’s restaurant.  A wonderful way to top off the special day being surrounded by people we love.

Kai flew Eunice home to NYC for her birthday weekend with the help of one of her really good friends Gaylaine who kept it a secret and brought her to the airport. Eunice was completely surprised and got on the plane to return home not knowing that Kai was waiting for her with a single rose. After picking Eunice up from the airport, Kai drove her to Du Point Hotel where he had already set up a beautiful room with rose petals of their names in a heart and a brand new outfit of a gorgeous Venetian dress and shoes for their night out. Kai was already in three piece suit so Eunice went to get changed, thinking all they would be doing is going out for dinner. Kai brought Eunice up to the rooftop restaurant in the hotel where they had a nice delicious dinner. But before dinner began, Kai surprised Eunice with the manager bringing a bouquet of 11 roses where he told her to put the single rose back into the bouquet to complete the dozen. Then they enjoyed their meal and had to rush because Kai said that they needed to help his mom with something. Eunice didn’t think anything and said ok. After dinner they took the elevator down, Eunice was thinking that they will be heading out to Manhattan, but Kai said let’s stop by Ten Point Karaoke on the 4th floor because he wanted to introduce me to the owner. Kai and Eunice got off the elevator and was greeted by the manager where Kai said to Eunice that he wanted to show her the different size rooms. Eunice was not thinking anything so she said ok, so she was shown the small room, the large room, then the VIP room. When the door was opened to the VIP room and flashes of camera lights went off and the poppers shot confetti into the air, Eunice was completely surprised to see the room filled with over 65 friends and family there to celebrate her birthday. As she walked into the room, she was told to guess each and every person that was hidden behind a mask. Yes, this was a masquerade party specially planned by Kai.  While Eunice was being occupied with the guessing of names, Kai had left the room to go and change into a royal Venetian outfit to match Eunice.  Suddenly he returned from changing, spun Eunice around to face him and he got on one knee with a huge toy capsule filled with ring pops. Kai asked Eunice, once again… “Will you marry me?” Eunice of course said “Yes!” in complete shock that he proposed again. After saying yes, Eunice opened the toy capsule and passed out all the ring pops, then at the very bottom was her precious beautiful ring. Kai reached into the toy capsule, retrieved the ring and put it on Eunice’s finger. Then he got up from his knee and hugged Eunice, which then their engagement song played and they had their slow dance. After all the excitement and surprises, everyone partied the rest of the night away with the awesome homemade jello-shots, cake, cupcakes, music, food, and fun.  It was a magical night to remember for all time.
